This is how i cheat the info-center to show more users online....

Open /Themes/default/languages/index.english.php

Find:

Code Select Expand

$txt['users_active'] = 'Users active in past %1$d minutes';

Replace with:

Code Select Expand

$txt['users_active'] = 'Users online now'

Then go to admin--->features and options and change the user online time threshold to a higher value.  ie., 360 or 720 or 1440.

Then clear cache --->admin--->maintenance--->forum maintenance---->clear cache.
