Recent idesignSMF changes

Regarding the recent changes on idesignSMF...

I felt that i had to make some changes around here as i was surfing the net, and realized idesignSMF looked like in someways like facebook, jsfiddle and such. Not much of changes,, just a few... just added a Parallax header, only seen by guests, a user header, expanded the footer and removed the border around the forum's body.

I hoe you like it

I'm loving the new changes. The header is genius! The colors are also nice and soft on the yes.

Good work Mick!

It's fun to see the subtle changes. The ninjas. The images on said page. Footer icons. Community is now just a link to the main board index. Free beer on page 42.

You are on a roll now dude. When I left work, I was thinking, man, at first I liked the new top part, but the menu no longer sticks to the top of the page. And now I'm home and lookie that, a smart menu. Right-align is a little odd to me, but can get used to it.

Footer icons. Wondering if those can be brightened on hover instead of darkened? Maybe I need to change my cultural perspective, but I'll take a sunny day over one of dark clouds. Firebug suggests the opacity should be flipped. Amount of beer consumer suggests I need AA another one.

I like the fade in to the lighter color.

Yeah dude, Firebug is one of my must-haves.

And in Chrome, the DevTools are Firebug on acid.

Parallax header? That was the tall thing for guests at the top of the page? Cool. Adios.

Beautiful site. Maybe add some cowbell.

You know what this site needs? ....more cow bell! lol

If cow bell = newly designed (centered) menu...I like it dude. Cool looking flyout too. Glad you made it light gray.

You could write a php loop for logo of the day, too.

Thanx!  The menu I had before was terrible in some mobile ways. I had to redo it all and I'm happy with it. I'm testing it on phone and tablet.

...and for logos, I suck at it lol

The dev tools in opera take it a step further.

Think the footer icons need lightening up a bit more on rollover..

rest looks great.. well, looks superb on my big monitor, looks great on mobile, but the laptop is in that weird void, where it doesnt feel totally comfortable.. this is just one of the downsides of modern web.. used to be you only had to cater for about a 600px wide spread of monitors, now you have to cater for about a 2000px spread of monitors. .
